They fixed it using some advanced water powered blaster which unclogged the main sewer without tearing up the sidewalk which is always a cheaper method. “Had a problem with my vintage toilet leaking (house built in 1940). When your toilet leaks every time you flush you get stressed–will the next flush make the water pour out? And how many times do we flush, especially with a family of 4? The plumber calmed me down and explained that this would not happen but understood my worry and squeezed me in two days later. Now another plumber about a year ago told me that I should just switch out the toilet with a new one. My toilet is pink and matches the rest of the bathroom. Why would I want a toilet that didn’t match? The GENTEEL PLUMBERS said they hated seeing vintage toilets replaced. The gentlemen who came were friendly and dedicated to fixing it. They removed the toilet, replaced the leaky pipe, put it back and bolted it back to the floor where it will remain even in an earthquake. They also removed the old parts in the tank with new ones. Now when we flush we walk out with no worries. That toilet was built to last, and they made sure that it had a brand-new life! They were courteous and worked hard. Their good mood was infectious, but the most important thing was that they really understood what they were doing. Being a little worried about price they talked everything out with me. Explained all that was happening. And how much everything would cost. And they stayed true to the quote given. “I’ll start by saying I don’t like plumbers. I always feel overcharged, things get fixed that break again a month later, or they fix one thing and break another. But as soon as we heard from GENTEEL PLUMBERS, I felt immediately like we could trust them. Our water heater gave out 3 days before I was having surgery. “GENTEEL came out to fix a crack in the pipe in kitchen and replace a bathroom faucet. They replaced the pipe under the kitchen sink. They discovered I didn’t receive all the parts for the Bathroom faucet, so I ordered, and they came back two days later to install. I had water leaking inside my house for a couple of days and I finally figured out it was coming from my water heater. I didn’t know what to do and contacted a few places on Yelp to see who could come out and help me. I called The GENTEEL PLUMBERS given they had such good reviews on YELP.

They were able to fit me in THE NEXT DAY and said they’d be there at 9:00 am in the morning and they WERE THERE at exactly 9:00 a.m. the next morning bringing a new Rheem hot water heater with them.

Turns out what we thought would be an easy “new hot water heater installation” turned out to be a nightmare. The furnace that had been installed in my home after the water heater – had venting and pipes that needed to be reoriented in order to make room for the new hot water heater

I’ve been a home owner for over 30 years and I’ve had contractors leave a job when they find it’s “different” than they expected – but NOT The GENTEEL PLUMBERS. They mapped out a solution, went to the local hardware store to get some additional piping and set to work. They stayed on task for 7 hours, moving the existing piping and vents and installing the new water heater. They removed my old water heater and cleaned their work area, so it looks immaculate.

Now here comes the BEST PART – they didn’t charge me any more than there original quote – that’s right – they are good at what they do, creative solution thinkers and honest business men.
